All the PT boats were the same model. They just added things to them.

JFK was in the Navy and was killed in Dallas, Texas.

They don't like to just display the weapons and tools they used in WWII. They do it to honor the men and women who fought in the war.

Japanese built over 3,000 tanks during the war.

The big light they shine in the sky helps them find their opponents.

They have 4 kinds of turtles.

The pirates would kill turtles for their meat because they believed it would prevent pox.

Males have longer tails, but girls have smaller tales.

The girls only lay their eggs in the night time.

They can use styrofoam to hold the baby eggs.

It takes 50-60 days for the eggs to hatch.

They plant the eggs to be released.

They cared for the eggs and turtles like they would with a child.

They also have birds and feed the birds seeds so they can poop trees.

7:30AM - South Africa (African Safari)

When: March 8th @ 7:30AM (3:30PM in South Africa)

Where: South Africa

Who:WildEarth Kida Live African Safari

Wild Earth Kids- African Safari (live interactive safari)

It is very warm in Africa, currently a high of 100 degrees F and a low of 84 degrees F.

There is also a lot of cold wind.

The time here is 7:30 AM.

The time in South Africa is 3:30 PM.

There is still a bit of light left, and it’s the best time to look for animals.

There is a male hippopotamus relaxing in the lake.

They are located in the southern area of Africa, next to Zimbabwe.

Eric Barnard is the speaker during the presentation.

One of the bird species is the Southern Bobo’s.

The coolest animal he has seen on the safari is the cape leopard.

He enjoys seeing elephants everyday at the safari.

He smells smoke in the area, which is a sign of a fire near them.

The environment and the vegetation is incredibly dry, which makes it highly flammable.

Giraffes, elephants, rhinos, and other animals eat the leaves of the trees.

These trees have thorns on the branches as a way of protection towards the animals that want to eat their leaves.

We got to see a male and female white rhino.

The black rhino isn’t as common anymore, since it’s numbers are low.

He got his job with with a lot of passion and perseverance.

Rhinos have a great sense of hearing and smell.

His favorite part of being part of the safari is the sights, smells, the animal encounters, the beautiful sights, and peace an quiet.

The birds found near the rhinos help them by picking away any parasites like fleas.

The safari is far away from many houses, since it’s on a nature reserve.

Most roads are windy and bumpy.

Shady areas are the best places to look for animals while on a Safari.

The vegetation is made up by a lot of trees, grasses, shrubs, and bushes.

Lots of area for animals to run free and eat.

He has been charged by a elephant about 2 or 3 times in his career.

Elephants show their emotions very well.

Very hot there and they are trying to stay away from the sun

Rarely see leopards and the last time he saw one was november of 2022

They only go to areas they feel safe at, so if they hear the people coming in the tractor they will go and hide.

The rhinos are sitting in the water because of the hot sun.

In some areas, safaris can be expensive in other not as much.

Lots of lush green grass

He can hear the elephants moving in the bushes.

Elephants can be picky, and some won't be picky.

Elephants like pizza.

When he was asked about what super power he would want, he said time travel “I am afraid of turbulence because of my flight to Greece.”
